Miss Teen USA South Carolina Answers a Question

The video that sent a shock wave all over the world yesterday regarding the interview of Miss Teen USA contestant Lauren Caitlin Upton during the pageant. The video below was all over the news yesterday from CNN to Fox news. After viewing the entire episode of the interview i couldn't help feeling sorry for this poor girl which she appeared to be confuse about the question ( granted very funny!).
The video below was posted on YouTube and it resulted in a couple of million hits along with thousands of harsh comments. She tried to redeem herself last Tuesday on the NBC "Today" show by answering the question with this statement: "Well personally, my friends and I, we know exactly where the United States is on our map. I don't know anyone else who doesn't. And if the statistics are correct, I believe there should be more emphasis on geography."
Apparently she had more time to prepare for the question since its a lot better than the previous answer. In the end, Miss Lauren Caitlin Upton had more spotlight than the actual winner of the pageant who is Miss Teen Colorado Hilary Carol Cruz.
After watching the video i concluded that we U.S. Americans should buy more maps so it will help our education such as the South Africans, Iraqi's and Asians ( just joking...he he he).

I simply love this two commercials from Cingular about mother and daughter situations.
"idk my bff jill?" This one is one of my favorate because i can relate to the mom.
I have two daughter's myself and i keep telling them that they are exceeding their text limit every month. I tell them why don't you just talk to them instead of texting and they give me a similar responsed as the commercial above...lol.
We live in a digital world were one can easily communicate with voice but for some reason teen-agers love "texting" which is an old technology...go figure.
This is my second favorate...very funny!
