After playing desktop tower defense ( see previous post) game i came across another gem that is simple & fun to play, Bloons. The premise of the game is simple, aim the dart at the balloons using your mouse and adjust the power of the throw by holding the left mouse button. Pop the required balloons for each level and you will advance to the next round with new power-ups and puzzle like game. Bloons has 50 levels to play so get ready to spend some time going through each one and believe me the game is downright addicting.

Desktop Tower Defense a flash based puzzle/strategy game.
Since i started playing the Desktop Tower Defense flash game, i became addicted to it and lost many hours trying to get a high score. The game is simple and it involves strategy and planning... not your typical shoot-em up computer game.
The object of the game is to strategically place different towers (each with different weapons) while building a maze for the invaders to follow inside the desktop. The towers which can be upgraded by spending money will destroy the enemies to prevent them from passing one of the two exit points. If 20 enemies passed these exit points then you will lose the game.
I played the "medium" setiings ( which is hard enough) exclusively and managed to achieved my high score of 4443. If you want to see my previous scores go to "view group score board" box and type "dennis land" and you will see all my game results. So give this awesome game a try and see if you can beat my high score.
